Vivian King is a dynamic communications leader with an extensive career in broadcast journalism, public relations and community relations. She is an author, speaker, moderator, professionally trained voice actor, and the founder and principal of Vivian L. King Connections LLC, where she provides personalized consulting to individuals looking to find their voice in the media and in the community through workshops and forums that improve their lives. 

Before founding her business, she served as Vice President of Community Relations for the largest health care system in Wisconsin, where she oversaw community sponsorships and caregiver engagement. Prior to that, she served as Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Media Relations for the largest retailer in Wisconsin, where she was chief spokesperson for the company and worked closely with developing the company's profile on social media and awarding community donations through the company's foundation. 

Vivian's background is in journalism. During her broadcast career she worked at television stations in Alexandria, Louisiana; Tyler, Texas; and Battle Creek, Michigan before moving to Milwaukee, where she spent more than 10 years at WTMJ-TV, the NBC affiliate.  

A native of St. Louis, Vivian received her journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
